Welcome to Hillcrest
The essence of a Hillcrest education lies in its commitment to quality and care. Our primary focus is on fostering the flourishing of our students, guiding them to become individuals of vibrant faith and robust character, lifelong learners, and active citizens.
Situated in Victoria, Hillcrest Christian College stands as a prominent provider of Christian education. It is an independent, interdenominational, coeducational institution with an open-enrolment policy, serving a student body of around 1300+. The College comprises Hillcrest Primary, encompassing the Early Learning Centre and Prep through Year 6, and Hillcrest Secondary, spanning Years 7 through 12.
Our contemporary campus, spread across an expansive 138-acre precinct, is home to various facilities such as the Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre, an Environmental Centre, and Rivercrest Christian College, which follows the International Baccalaureate curriculum. The college boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a Year 5-6 block, Primary Multi-Purpose Centre, STEM Centre, and Film & Media Centre.
Whether students are engaged in foundational programs or navigating the diverse learning pathways in Senior Secondary, participating in sports, musical pursuits, or community service, Hillcrest challenges every student to pursue excellence and reach their personal best. Collaborative learning is emphasised, aligning with the Victorian Curriculum and Qualifications Framework.
Our secure, nurturing environment ensures that students have the opportunity to form friendships, take risks, acquire skills, and develop qualities of compassion and courage. Together, we explore the values of love, worship, obedience, and service to God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
As you explore this website, you will discover the myriad ways in which we cultivate a family-oriented learning community, recognised for its dedication to the Christian message, cultural diversity, innovative teaching, a comprehensive curriculum, and extensive co-curricular programs.
